Community Board 11 will hear presentations from Queens Borough President Melinda Katz and a city fitness program.

The board will meet at 7:30 p.m. at M.S. 158, located at 46-35 Oceania St. in Bayside.

Katz will speak at the beginning of the meeting and will be followed by Queens Shape-Up, a city Parks Department fitness program.

There will be no public hearings, but CB 11’s transportation committee will discuss recommendations for speed bump requests at various northeast Queens locales, a ‘No Parking’ sign request on Station Road and a request to name a corner of Union Turnpike and Bell Boulevard after Father John Murray.

Those interested in speaking during the meeting’s public participation portion should contact District Manager Susan Seinfeld by calling 718-225-1054.

The board’s next meeting will be on March 3 at M.S. 158.
