A bevy of local elected officials attended the annual reception in Douglaston.

The annual Queens Civic Congress legislative reception was held this past weekend in Douglaston.

The event, which gives attendees the opportunity to speak one-on-one with their elected officials, was held at the Douglaston Club on Dec. 1.

A number of elected officials representing northeast Queens took part in the event, including U.S. Reps. Grace Meng and Steve Israel, state Sen. Toby Stavisky, state Assembly members David Weprin, Nily Rozic and Edward Braunstein, City Councilman Mark Weprin, Councilman-elect Rory Lancman, Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer and city Comptroller John Liu.
