Need Home Heating Help? Head to Borough Hall

Borough President offers assistance with HEAP.

Borough President Helen Marshall said Thursday that Queens residents in need of home heating assistance can apply at Queens Borough Hall.

A representative of the Home Energy Assistance Program will be at Borough Hall in room 225 on Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“Living without heat can result in serious physical and emotional health issues, such as those that we are beginning to see in the wake of Hurricane Sandy,” said Marshall. “Everyone who qualifies should apply for this cold weather program."
