Meng's Offices to Remain Open, Despite Government Shutdown

Congresswoman's Flushing and Forest Hills district offices will not close amid shutdown.

U.S. Rep. Grace Meng, D-Flushing, said the shutdown of the federal government would not affect operations at her district offices.

The congresswoman said both her Flushing and Forest Hills district offices would remain open, despite the governmental shutdown that went into effect on Tuesday.

“With the government closed down, constituents will rely on us more than ever and my staff and I will continue to be there for them during what will likely be a challenging time for our community and our country,” Meng said.
