Meng to Host Second in Series of Visits to Communities in Her District
Congresswoman will hold her second 'Congress On Your Corner' event in Fresh Meadows.
U.S. Rep. Grace Meng, D-Flushing, will host her second “Congress on Your Corner” meet and greet in Fresh Meadows next week.
The congresswoman will meet with constituents to discuss local issues at the Fresh Meadows Library from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on April 29.
Meng held her first “Congress” event on March 27 in Middle Village. All residents in the congresswoman’s district are invited to attend the second event at the library, which is located at 193-20 Horace Harding Expressway.
“I am excited to hold my second ‘Congress on Your Corner’ event so that I can continue to meet with constituents in their own neighborhood about any problems, concerns or issues that they want to discuss,” Meng said. “I encourage all residents to attend.”
Free parking is available at the library. The congresswoman said she will continue to host the event in other communities throughout her district in upcoming months.
