Lhota: 'No' to Racial Profiling; De Blasio Not a Socialist
Republican candidate addresses campaign issues on HuffPost Live.
Republican Mayoral candidate Joe Lhota joined HuffPost Live this week to address a few key campaign points, as well as a few things about his opponent, Democrat Bill de Blasio, that he felt needing clearing up ... like that "Socialist" branding.
In the interview, shared in segments above, Lhoto said he does not oppose the controversial Stop and Frisk NYPD practice, though he stood against racial profiling.
The Republican also addressed the "socialist" label being thrown at De Blasio over the Democrat's support for Nicaragua’s Sandinista party in 1990, saying he wouldn't exactly brand De Blasio with the scarlet S-word.
