Community District Education Council 26 will hold it monthly Public and Business meetings on Thursday, October 20, at 7 p.m. The agenda for the Public meeting includes presentations on the “Common Core Learning Standards - CCLS,” which outlines the new guidelines of higher learning standards, and Contracts for Excellence, which entails the discussion of extra funds provided by New York City to public schools. The CDEC 26 welcomes, and wants, members of the community to join in on this discussion.
The Business meeting will include a Budget Review, as well as scheduling upcoming meeting dates.
