CB 11 to Discuss Proposed Site for Bayside School at May Meeting

Representatives from the city's School Construction Authority will talk about school site at 48th Avenue.

Community Board 11 will discuss site selection for a new primary school in northeast Queens at its May meeting.  

The board will meet on May 6 at 7:30 p.m. at M.S. 158, located at 46-35 Oceania St. in Bayside.  

At the meeting, the city’s School Construction Authority will discuss a proposal for a 416-seat school on 48th Avenue between 210th and 211th Streets in Bayside.  

There will also be a presentation on energy efficiency improvements for Your Home Community Environment Center, Inc.  

Call 718-225-1054 to register to speak during the meeting’s public hearing. Those interested in speaking during the public participation portion of the meeting should register by May 3.  

CB 11 will hold its next meeting on June 10.
