Bus Shelter and Parking Restrictions on CB 11's Agenda for Oct. 7 Meeting

Community Board 11 will hold public hearings on the proposed removal of a bus shelter and overnight parking restrictions along Francis Lewis Boulevard at its Oct. 7 meeting.

The board will also talk about a proposal to add speed bumps along 36th Avenue.

CB 11 will meet at 7:30 p.m. at M.S. 158, located at 46-35 Oceania St. in Bayside.

Its first hearing of the evening will be for proposed speed bumps on 36th Avenue between 218th and 219th Streets and 36th Avenue between Bell Boulevard and Corporal Stone Street.

Another hearing will involve the proposed removal of a bus shelter on Union Turnpike and Springfield Boulevard.

The board will also discuss a request to remove overnight parking restrictions on the west side of Francis Lewis Boulevard south of Crocheron Avenue.

A City Council resolution regarding the provision of disaster relief assistance to co-ops and condos is also on the agenda.

The board will next meet on Nov. 4.
