Democrat Paul Vallone and Republican Dennis Saffran are not on the list because their district does not cover the portion of the neighborhood represented by the civic association.

Queens borough president candidates Melinda Katz and Aurelio “Tony” Arcabascio have also been invited as well as comptroller candidates Scott Stringer and John L. Burnett.

Michael Feiner, the civic’s president, said that those thinking about attending the candidates night should keep an eye out closer to the event to find out if mayoral candidates Bill de Blasio and Joe Lhota plan to show up.

The civic is currently collecting questions for the candidates from the community. To submit a question, visit the civic’s Facebook page.
