Two Killed in Flushing Shooting

Queens woman, 51, and Manhattan man, 55, discovered dead along 56th Road, police say.

An apparent murder-suicide claimed the lives of a 51-year-old Queens woman and a Manhattan man in Flushing Wednesday afternoon, police said.

Lori Eng, of Flushing, was discovered just after 5 p.m. by police in front of 142-46 56th Road, which is near New York Hospital Queens. She had two gunshots to the torso, police said.

David Chea, 55, of Manhattan, was also found with a gunshot to head, police said.

Both Eng and Chea were pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing, but police said the shooting appeared to be a murder-suicide.

A .38-caliber firearm was recovered by police at the scene.
