An elderly woman can count herself fortunate after being clipped by the mirror of an SUV driving on Springfield Blvd. Wednesday.
The 73-year-old woman had been standing off the curb while the driver of the GMC vehicle turned the corner of 64th Ave. and Springfield Blvd. He had not been drinking, according to police on the scene.
The victim survived with only cuts to the neck and forehead. Smatters of what appeared to be blood marked the SUVs front bumper.
