Police Search for Suspect Who Attempted Rape in 111th Precinct
Man attempted to sexually assault a teenage girl in Fresh Meadows on Aug. 21.
Police are searching for the suspect in an attempted rape that took place in the 111th Precinct on Aug. 21.
The suspect is described as a white male between the ages of 40 and 50 years. He is believed to be five-foot-11 and weigh an estimated 225 pounds. He spoke with an Eastern European accent, police said.
The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Aug. 21 in Peck Park in Fresh Meadows.

The suspect approached the victim, a 17-year-old girl, and knocked her down, attempting to rape her, police said. The victim kicked the suspect in the chest and was able to flee the scene.
