A disgrace. Always cutting the people's needs. What do the rich care if you burn to death.Cuomo extends tax cuts for the rich so you can burn to death without fire protection.Madison Square Garden can have tax rebates so you can burn to death. A third term for a slimey billionaire republican ,doing his damage before he leaves office. All political whores. In the pockets of the wealthy. This is what you get with politicians with POOR character.Selling themselves to the highest bidder. Spending our hard earned money like a drunken sailor. Why don't they make the retirement age on the day you drop dead? If these sleaze bags could ,they would.

Hey Arthur and Mitch, We welcome your thoughtful comments gentlemen, but can you refrain from the personal back-and-forths that your exchange occasionally degrades to? It clogs the comments feed on the side of our homepage, and isn't really what our comments section is for. I recommend you gentlemen meet for a drink sometime to discuss your differences. I know a pair of bloggers who—for years—had vicious enmity online. Then they met in person and became the closest friends.

Lori, He fails to understand that it's your ball game, your field, and most importantly your ball. I would like it if other people write in and leave comments that are not so one sided. But the questions I want him to answer are, prior to 1854, whose fault was it for all the USA's problems?, and in other countries where there are no republican or democratic parties, whose fault is it there? Such balderdash
