A Queens woman was arrested Monday and charged with operating an illegal massage parlor in Glen Cove, say police. 


Glen Cove Police arrested Cui Hongyan, 35, following an undercover investigation into services provided at Aroma Foot Spa, 39 Cedar Swamp Road, Glen Cove. Hongyan was charged with prostitution and operating a business without proper licensing.  

“We don’t want these types of establishments setting up shop here in Glen Cove," said Lt. John Nagle of the Glen Cove Police. "We became aware of this illegal establishment through tips and social media ads associated with prostitution.”

Oyster Bay Man Charged with Selling Cocaine

An Oyster Bay faces charges for criminal sale of a controlled substance that took place on Oct. 31 at 11:34 p.m. in Oyster Bay.

Nassau detectives say they saw Frank D. Mejia, 24, near Audrey Avenue and E. Main Street selling cocaine. They arrested him without incident.

Mejia is charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree.
