Cops: No Robbery at Citibank
Several police cars at the Citibank located at Citibank 39-01 Bell Blvd. spurred rumors of a robbery.
The passing off of a bad check drew uniformed NYPD and detectives to a Citibank on Bell Blvd., said those same police.
They could not provide further details.
Neighboring merchants had speculated that the bank had been robbed.

The bank was operating as usual while police where there. "There's no violence and there's nothing broken," said one Citibank customer.
