Family Talk: Sofia Vergara Open to Having Another Child

The 'Modern Family' star reveals that she is open to having a baby after recently getting engaged to fiance Nick Loeb.

Never say never.

"Modern Family" star Sofia Vergara revealed in an interview with Celebuzz that while right now she's "taking it easy," having a baby may be in the cards.

When asked if she would go through being pregnant again after so much time has passed since the birth of her 20-year-old-son, Manolo Gonzalez-Ripoll Vergara, Vergara told the website that she "wouldn't mind," especially if she is not working as much.

The 40-year-old comedic beauty has recently become engaged to Nick Loeb, a 36-year-old businessman she has been seeing for two years.

The couple split and got back together not long before Loeb popped the question at Vergara's birthday celebration in Mexico this summer.

With Vergara's Modern Family character, Gloria, pregnant, she mentions having a flashback to her pregnancy with Manolo while expressing how she loves the fact that she is able to show off her prostetic baby bump in the character's revealing clothing.

Although it is uncommon for a family to have children more than 20 years apart and atypical to be pregnant after age 40, if Vergara can make it happen, then more power to her.
