Last year, in commemoration of the tenth anniversary of Sept. 11, there was a very special moment: We were able to obtain two pieces of The World Trade Center steel artifacts from the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and unveiled these artifacts during our ceremony.
This year, we are going to adorn these artifacts with a very special inscription that will be unveiled during the event. With much appreciation, I’d like to thank Jerry Iannece, BHCA Board member, who took time off from his busy schedule to make this very special part of our ceremony possible. This event takes place on Sept. 11 at 7 p.m. on the corner of Bell Boulevard and Horace Harding Expressway in Bayside.
