Samuel Field Y, Alley Pond to Host Veterans Day Events for Kids
Y will host event for families of children with developmental disabilities, while environmental center will allow kids to explore outdoors.
The Samuel Field Y will host a family day this Friday for pre-school children with developmental disabilities that will be filled with games, food and fun.
The event, which will be held in honor of Veterans Day, will be held from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Y, located at 58-20 Little Neck Parkway.
The fee will be $5 per family. Snacks will be served at the event.

On Veterans Day, the Y will also take children to , where they will be able to interact with the center’s animals and explore the outdoors.

Members will pay $50, while the fee for non-members will be $75.
Parents must drop their children off at 8 a.m. at the Y and pick them up at 6 p.m.
