Community Corner

Parent Talk

This week, our council of local moms and dads discusses holiday shopping for the kids.

Each week, our Parents Council of experts takes your questions, gives advice and shares solutions.

Moms, dads, grandparents and the diverse families who make up our community will have a new resource for questions about local neighborhood schools, the best pediatricians, 24-hour pharmacies and the thousands of other issues that arise while raising children.

This week’s question is:

There is definitely no set system on gift giving. I believe that every family needs to decide that based on many factors. In my family, we celebrate Hanukkah and Christmas. We give our daughter a small gift each of the eight nights of Hanukkah and a few gifts for Christmas. Santa does a lot of the work though.
