Parents will be particularly pleased by the shorter commute when it comes to midnight releases, like the one the store plans to hold on Oct. 25 with the debut of the game Battlefield 3.

The store will also host a tournament this Saturday at 2 p.m., in which gamers are invited to face off in a vicious Marvel vs. Capcom 3 battle royale. First prize is a copy of the aforementioned game upon its release in November, and second and third place winners will take home GameStop gift cards.

GameStop is located in Little Neck Plaza at 254-57 Horace Harding Expy.
