What's the deal with Jerry Seinfeld?
For the first time in 14 years, the comedian will perform a series of full stand-up shows in all five boroughs, with a stop at Queens College.
The show will take place on Thursday, October 18 at 8 p.m., at the Colden Auditorium at Queens College.
“I was born in Brooklyn, went to school in Queens and started out as a comedian in Manhattan. I feel like New York City taught me how to be funny. I'm so excited to perform a special series of shows for my beloved home town," Seinfeld said, in a statement.
According to a release, Seinfeld has not performed a full show in the city since his sold-out Broadway engagement, “I’m Telling You For The Last Time,” at the Broadhurst Theater in 1998.
The shows, which feature special guest Colin Quinn, will go on sale on Monday, July 30 at 10 a.m. Tickets for the Queens College show are available at www.KupferbergCenter.org or by calling (718) 793-8080.
