Gingerbread House Contest for Children
Douglaston Village Chamber of Commerce will host competition on Dec. 3
The Douglaston Village Chamber of Commerce will host a gingerbread house-making contest for local children on Dec. 3 at local bakery .
There will be a $10 fee for children to take part in the competition, which will begin at 4 p.m. All supplies to make the houses will be included in the fee.
Participants will be able to take home the gingerbread houses they create. Fresh apple cider from will be served.

The contest's winner will receive a $100 gift certificate to Giftalicious, which is located at 42-32 235th St.
