Douglaston Little Neck Library Unveils April Slate of Programs
Attendees will be able to create a silly story, do yoga from a chair or make a Father's Day card for a soldier.
The ’s roster of April classes include everything from yoga classes to a Father’s Day themed-event that will honor soldiers serving overseas.
Every Monday this month, the library will offer basic computer classes at 10 a.m. and free English conversation classes at 1 p.m.
On Tuesdays, visitors will be able to take part in the library’s chair yoga class. The program, which will be held at 3 p.m. and taught by certified instructor Irene Failenbogen, will include basic yoga techniques and exercises that can be done while seated.

The library will present Creating a Silly Story with Author/Illustrator Ryan Sias at 3:30 p.m. on April 12.
On April 25, the library will host a Father’s Day event during which local students will be able to make cards for soldiers. The event will begin at 3:30 p.m.

Local students will be able to take part in the library’s Tweens and Teens Book Discussion on April 26 at 4:15 p.m.
The library will offer AARP driver safety courses on two Fridays this month – April 13 and 20 – at 10:30 a.m.
