Divine Wisdom Academy to Hold Annual Christmas Fair

Douglaston Catholic school will provide space for more than 40 vendors, a food court and Santa Claus on Dec. 3.

St. Anastasia’s Divine Wisdom Academy will host its annual Christmas fair on Dec. 3 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The fair, which will be held at Father Smith Hall, will provide shopping opportunities for the whole family. Sale items at the more than 40 vendors will include fresh wreaths, poinsettia plants, jewelry, men’s and ladies’ accessories, cosmetics, toys, sporting gods, home products, a food court and homemade snacks.

Raffles will be held throughout the course of the day. Prizes include $500 cash, an iTouch, Coach bag, Broadway theater tickets and Botox and facial treatments.

Children will be able to visit Santa Land, which will be located on the school’s second floor between noon and 3 p.m. It will include pictures with Santa Claus, crafts, music and face painting.

Attendees will be able to purchase $5 manicures and $10 massages.

On Friday evening, the church will host a Ladies Night preview of the fair, during which visitors can dine and shop early, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

St. Anastasia Parish is located at 45-11 245th St. in Douglaston.
