Bird Club to Host Environmental Scientist at APEC

Seth Ausubel will discuss reptiles and amphibians at April 18 event.

The Queens County Bird club will host an April 18 event at during which a environmental scientist will discuss reptiles and amphibians that can be found locally.

Seth Ausubel will talk about reptiles and amphibians, which are collectively known as “herps,” that make their home in New York and New Jersey during the bird club’s event.

He will also share some of his experience in the field, discuss the lives and histories of various species and talk about conservation issues.

Ausubel is an avid birder and herper.
