Events 


On Monday, Alley Pond Environmental Center will offer its Wee Sprouts and Toddler Time programs. 

Universal pre-kindergarten will begin Monday and run every day of the week after school at the Community Church of Douglaston. 

M.S. 67 will hold a performance of "Annie Get Your Gun" on Friday. The National Art League will hold a still life demonstration on Friday evening.

On Saturday, there will be a strawberry festival and flea market on 24th Avenue in Bayside.

Soul music legends The Spinners will perform at Queensborough Community College's performing arts center on Sunday.

L'Dor V'Dor, which combines the Little Neck and Oakland Jewish centers, will host a dinner dance on Sunday.

Announcements 


Mobile service for the Bayside Library, located at 214-20 Northern Blvd., is currently in service. The library will be closed for a few months to allow for a renovation.

Community Board 11 will hold its next meeting on May 6 at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium of M.S. 158, located at 46-35 Oceania St.
