Events

The 86th annual Little Neck Douglaston Memorial Day Parade will begin at 2 p.m. on Monday at the corner of Jayson Avenue and Northern Boulevard in Great Neck.

There will be a rummage sale at Temple Beth Sholom on Monday.

The Bayside Village Business Improvement District will kick off its first Thursday Nights Out on May 29. Some businesses will stay open later and offer specials.

The Oakland Little Neck Jewish Center will host Shabbat Lunch and Learn on Saturday.

Announcements 


Mobile service for the Bayside Library, located at 214-20 Northern Blvd., is currently in service. The library will be closed for a few months to allow for a renovation.

State Sen. Tony Avella, D-Bayside, will host an auction on June 8 at Fort Totten to assist several local nonprofits, including the Bayside Historical Society, in need of funding for the upcoming year.
