Community Board 11 will meet on Monday night at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium of M.S. 158, located at 46-35 Oceania St. in Bayside. The board will discuss the Scobee Diner property and a long-term plan for Alley Creek.
P.S. 31Q will perform "Seussical, Jr." on Wednesday evening.
St. Mary's Hospital will offer free car seat checks on Friday morning. And Oakland Little Neck Jewish Center will hold a community Shabbabeque on Friday evening.
Zion Episcopal Church will host its 183rd annual Strawberry Festival on Saturday.
Announcements
Mobile service for the Bayside Library, located at 214-20 Northern Blvd., is currently in service. The library will be closed for a few months to allow for a renovation.
