Summer Reading at Queens Library is Totally Cool

It's totally cool! Summer Reading at Queens Library is fun, it's free and it's right in your neighborhood. Tots, teens, great grandfolks, this is for you!

First: sign up at any Queens Library or online at www.summerreading.org. Then, take a look at all the great events you can attend. Borrow wonderful books to read from your library. Choose anything you enjoy: zombies, celebrity biographies, true crime, history, graphic novels, adventures, mysteries.  

Watch for book discussions. Come to game events or art programs. Try reading something completely different and see how you like it. When you are ready, write a very brief review of what you've read so you can compare your opinion with everybody else who has read the same thing. It doesn't have to be more than a couple of sentences, but if you are feeling creative,  let the words fly!  

Even if you are going to be away for part of the summer, that's fine. Read while you are away and you can either participate online or catch up at the end of the summer. Either way, you are guaranteed to enjoy it.
