Learn Victorian Floral Arrangement Techniques At BHS

The Bayside Historical Society is offering classes in "the language of flowers."

Do you know how to prig a flower? It's not as simple as picking one.

The Bayside Historical Society promises to teach the language of flowers this March, with a workshop series by guest speaker Natalie Carbone.

The series kicks off on March 11 with a lesson in the Art of Drying Flowers using air, the overn, silica, the microwave, glycerin or other techniques.

On March 18, the series moves on to the topic of Dried Pressed Art. And on March 25th the series concludes with Victorian Bouquet and the Language of Flowers.
