Mother's Day Brunch and Dinner Specials in Northeast Queens

This Sunday is Mother’s Day, so the time to make reservations for brunch or dinner is right now. 

A number of northeast Queens eateries are offering special menus or prices for the holiday. Take a look at Patch’s list of several local restaurants offering Mother’s Day specials.

Bourbon Street

This popular Bayside eatery will offer three different brunch menus on Mother’s Day. For $19.95, patrons can try red velvet pancakes or Captain Crunch French Toast and, for $20.95, they can sample a Southern Breakfast Bowl. The $21.95 options includes everything from a steak sandwich and an Asian noodle salad to steak and eggs. The dinner menu offers soup, appetizers such as seafood Bolognese and clams on the half-shell and entrees, including rack of lamb, filet mignon with Cabernet sauce, horseradish crusted tuna and cornbread crusted chicken. 

Giardino

This Italian eatery will offer a Mother’s Day brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The meal will cost $30 per adult and $15 for children under 12 years of age. Mother’s Day dinner will begin at 1 p.m. and will be $47 per adult and $25 for children under 12 years. For more information, visit Giardino’s website. 

Il Toscano

Douglaston’s Il Toscano will offer everything from salads and appetizers, such as veal meatballs and calamari Fritti, to pastas and entress, including roasted rack of lamb, grilled veal T-bone and filet mignon, for Mother’s Day. 

Bayside Diner

The diner will offer its regular menu, but will also serve broiled seafood, prime rib, shell steak with shrimp, pot roast, chicken Marsala and stuffed linguini. Meals come with soup or salad. Mother’s Day dinner begins at 2 p.m. 

Several other neighborhood restaurants, such as Little Neck’s Greek Islands Restaurant (253-17 Northern Blvd., 718-279-5922) are also offering Mother’s Day specials, but details were not immediately available.
