Black Friday Guide For Northeast Queens

List of local merchants, sales, and store hours for Black Friday.

Good morning and welcome to yet another Black Friday!

A tradition dating back to the late 19th century and early 20th century, Black Friday (i.e. the day after Thanksgiving) has come to be the official start of the holiday season with sales on just about everything.

From clothing to electronics, there's virtually nothing that isn't marked down on Black Friday.

And this year, some local merchants have really stepped up their game, with some places offering up to 60 percent off select store items.

So here's a list of a few local stores, their hours and any sales taking place on Black Friday.


Hours: Midnight, Thursday Evening-Friday Morning until 10 p.m. Friday
Sales: To be announced on Black Friday.

Hours: Thursday, 9 p.m. until Midnight on Friday.
Sales: To be announced starting Thursday at store opening.


The Children's Place
Hours: 4 a.m. to whenever 
Sales: Everything 30 percent until 2 p.m.

Hours: 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Sales: 20 to 60 percent off select store items throughout the day

Hours: 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. 
Sales:  Everything will be 40 percent off until noon, and then 30 percent off until close.

Hours: 5 am to 10 p.m.
Sales: 50 percent off the entire store

Hours: 5:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Sales: Scratch off sale with up to 40 percent off

Hours: 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Sales: The whole store will be 50 % off all day, with an additional 10 percent until noon. Also, fleece shirts as well as Melissa and Doug Puzzles just 5 dollars, while supplies last.

Hours: 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Sales: Buy 2 get one free on earrings, all winter items are buy one get one half off, all boots 30 percent off, and hand bags 30 to 50 percent off throughout the day.

Hours: 10 a.m. 9 p.m.
Sales: Additional 50 percent all marked down items in the store.
