Bayside Historical Society to Host Holiday Party This Weekend
Event will include music, cocktail hour and a sit-down dinner.
Tickets are still available for the Bayside Historical Society’s annual holiday party at Fort Totten.
The event, which will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 7, is held at the fort’s castle, located at 208 Totten Ave.
Attendees must pre-purchase tickets by calling 718-352-1548. Historical society members will pay $65, while the cost for nonmembers is $75.

“We get a good turnout,” the society’s Susan Hoyen Chesloff said of the annual event. “This year, we’ll have a band playing as well as a pianist.”
The party will begin with a cocktail hour, which will be followed by a sit-down dinner.
There will be musical performances by pianist Andrew Cardona and Phil Costa and Something Special Band.

The castle will be decorated for the holidays and the society’s exhibits, such as a Throgs Neck display and Native Bayside, will remain open during the event.
