Shoppers need to be offererd a wider selection at more reasonable prices. Limited selction at Barnes & Noble, high prices at Waldbaum's.
Took an informal survey the other day. Drove to Little Neck Plaza---0 empty stores. I then drove to Lake Success Center---1 empty store. Next stop was Douglaston Plaza---0 empty stores. The last stop on my trip was Bay Terrace---5 empty stores. Any idea why there is such a disparity? Send me your suggestions how to improve the shopping in this underserved area.
