Tuesday

The Douglaston Little Neck Historical Society is hosting a walking and house tour in October to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the community’s historic designation.

And workers from 1199-SEIU filed an unfair labor practice charge against St. Mary’s, accusing the hospital of not sharing its financial records during negotiations.

Wednesday

The MTA is considering fare hikes on MetroCards as well as tunnels and bridges. Alley Pond Environmental Center is holding a fundraiser at Papazzio in Bayside on Oct. 11. And a Little Neck man was rushed to the hospital after accidentally shooting himself in the foot.

Thursday

Halloran is planning a homeowners night forum in Flushing on Sept. 27. And be sure to check out Patch’s preview of the National Estuaries Day festival being held on Sept. 29 at Little Neck Bay.

Friday
