This Thursday, the Douglaston Little Neck Library will offer a Kaplan workshop during which students will learn tips, tricks and strategies for taking standard tests.

The class will begin at 3:30 p.m. To register, call the library at 718-225-8414.

Today, Alley Pond Environmental Center is offering its Wee Sprouts and Toddler Time classes.

On Wednesday, the Douglaston Little Neck Library is holding its Mother Goose Time class and the Samuel Field Y will present its Wednesday Night Rap for area singles.

This Thursday, the Bay Terrace Community Alliance is holding its 2012 Winter Dinner Party. Click here for more information.

The Y will offer a program on assertiveness and relationship growth on Thursday evening.

And the Little Neck Jewish Center is hosting a pre-Purim party on Sunday afternoon.
