Play Board Games, Meet New Folks On Fridays

Remember when you were in middle school, and you secretly wanted to join the chess club?

Now, you basically can. A group of adults have been getting together every Friday night at 7p.m. in the at Bay Terrace, according to a meetup listing. Here's their invitation to one and all:

Please join a fun group of people who are interested in a diverse mix of word, party, strategy, card, and role-playing games.  We play games such as Word On the Street, Taboo, Dixit, Furstenfeld, Ticket to Ride, Munchkin, and many others.  Please feel free to bring your own games; there are always people looking to learn something new, as well as find a new favorite board game.

If you're looking to play fun games with a really nice group of people, come meet up with us at Panera Bread in the Bay Terrace Shopping Center.  Newcomers are always welcome!

The group just asks that you don't bring outside food into Panera. Some free advice from Bayside Patch: if anyone breaks out a game of Risk, do not overlook the Kamtchake territory. He who holds Kamtchake, holds the globe.
