Why Go: Shoes I Love will not only have extreme discounts on spring, summer and fall items, but there will also be refreshments by and music.

Where/When: . Friday at 11 p.m.

Why Go: The Funk Sequence will play a free show at Douglaston's The Attic. Specials include $4 Mind Eraser shots and $16 Coors Light buckets.

Where/When: . Saturday at 8 p.m.

Why Go: Hosted by Dan and James, this music festival will raise funds for the Darryl Strawberry Foundation to fight autism. The show, which will include six hours of music, is free, but there is a suggested $20 donation.

Where/When: . Sunday at 9 a.m.

Why Go: This course, which will cost $60, will help attendees - ages 10 and older - to obtain a certificate to operate a personal water craft.

Where/When: Hicks Nurseries, 100 Jericho Turnpike, Westbury. Sunday at 10 a.m.

Why Go: The contest will feature prizes for heaviest tomato, largest circumference, most unusual and tiniest red tomato.
