Douglaston Little Neck Library to Offer Halloween-Themed Programs
Children can make cards for soldiers on Oct. 2 and 3 or crafts during an event closer to the holiday.
The Douglaston Little Neck Library will host a program on Oct. 2 and 3 during which children can create Halloween and Thanksgiving cards for soldiers.
The program, which will be held at 2:45 p.m. on both days, allows children, teens and their parents to design cards for men and women serving in the military overseas.
On Oct. 30, the library will host a Halloween story and craft program for local youngsters at 3 p.m.

Every Monday in October, the library will offer English conversation classes at 1 p.m. and its knitting and crocheting club at 4 p.m.
On Oct. 9, northeast Queens residents can take a computer basics class at 11 a.m. and, on Oct. 24, the library will host Anna’s Book Discussion at 11:30 a.m.

An E-books program will take place at 5 p.m. on Oct. 4 and 11. On Oct. 5 and 12, an AARP driver safety course will be held at 10:30 a.m.
The library’s Toddler Time class will be offered on Oct. 1, 4, 11, 15, 18 and 25.
The library is located at 249-01 Northern Blvd. in Douglaston.
