Councilman Dan Halloran, R-Whitestone, will hold a for Douglaston and Little Neck residents on July 18 at . Branch managers of the neighborhood's stations will be in attendance. The event will be held from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Councilman Mark Weprin, D-Oakland Gardens, will host a meeting on July 17 at the Samuel Field Y during which he will and eventually vote on which proposal should be funded.

Community District Education Council 26 will hold its from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at M.S. 74, located at 61-15 Oceania St. in Bayside. During the meeting, the group will elect its new officers for the upcoming year.
