Issue of Proclamation by Town of North Hempstead

BACKGROUND:  On April 26, 2011 i.park Lake Success kicked off their first Jeans for Wishes campaign benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Metro New York. Jeans for Wishes is a charitable campaign and fundraiser that invites companies, organizations and schools to join together and wear jeans to raise funds to grant wishes of children living in the five boroughs of New York City and Nassau County diagnosed with life-threatening medical conditions. The tenants of i.park who participated in the campaign will help make dreams come true for these children.

The campaign ran from April 26-May 26. Companies and organizations at i.park participated by donating $5 per employee to wear jeans or their favorite sports apparel for one day or $20 for an entire week. The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Metro New York is headquartered in i.park Lake Success, one of 35 commercial properties managed by Winthrop Management.
