Northeast Queens for Action Panel Discussion on Women's Rights Issues

Join Northeast Queens for Action, a local chapter of Organizing for Action, when we have this panel discussion featuring Councilwoman Laurie Cumbo; Assemblywoman Nily Rozic; Rachelle Suissa, President of the Brooklyn-Queens chapter of the National Organization for Women; and Emily Pasnak-Lapchick, a U.S. Fund for UNICEF End Trafficking Fellow. We'll be discussing modern women's rights issues--such as the pay disparity, workplace discrimination, health care issues, domestic violence, and trafficking--and having a conversation about what we can do to combat them from a legislative, outreach, and community organizing perspective.
