The High School Open House has been rescheduled for Thursday, November 15 at 6:30 pm and Wednesday, November 28 at 6:30 pm. World Journalism Preparatory School is a New York City public school serving students in grades 6 through 12. WJPS is housed in the Adrien Block Campus at 34-65 192 Street at Francis Lewis Boulevard. It is accessible via the Q28 and Q76 buses.

Obviously, it…Read More did not receive the support of the community, at least not enough to make it a successful venture. This is sad. Every Sunday, rain or shine, I would stop at the market and purchase something. My favorite was the bakery stand. Often, when I stopped in the afternoon I would get two FREE French breads with my purchase. Parking was never a problem. The vendors where friendly and very informative. It was a perfect setting for the picturesque nature of this community. Too bad it is not returning.

And this..., just as we were beginning to enjoy the Long Island wines and the $34 per pound skirt steak, ordered two months in advance.
