Dementia: Research, Treatment and Caregiver Support

The Samuel Field Y will be presenting a Dementia Symposium for Providers and Caregivers at Margaraet Tietz Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Wednesday, January 22, with breakfast and registration kicking off at 9:30 AM.

With a growing population of seniors dealing with the onset of dementia and all the ensuing challenges, it is crucial for caregivers to be as educated as possible in order to provide their loved ones with the support and care they need. An estimated 5.2 million Americans of all ages have Alzheimer’s disease, and 80 percent of their care is provided by unpaid caregivers, usually family members.

If you are interested in attending the symposium, please contact Linda Spiegel at lspiegel@centerlight.org or call (718) 298-7838. Valet parking will be available.
