Where to Celebrate the Feast of the Epiphany in Bayside
Local mass schedules for Roman Catholics celebrating the Incarnation Christ.
For those who thought the Christmas holidays had already ended, guess again.
January 6 marks the official end to the Christmas season with the Feast of the Epiphany, a Roman Catholic celebration recognizing the pilgrimage of the 'Three Wise Men,' (i.e. the magi who presented baby Jesus with gold, frankincense and myrrh).
Also known as 'Little Christmas,' the Feast of the Epiphany is a day of religious observance for many Christians around the world; one which marks when Caspar, Melchior, and Balthasar—the Three Kings of the Christmas Tradition—arrived at the manger where Jesus Christ was born.
