Week In Review: Paving, Outer Borough Taxis and the Case of the Missing Painting

A look back at the notable events of the past week.

Large swaths of Grand Central and Little Neck parkways were milled earlier this week, and will likely be paved sometime in the next two weeks, Department of Transportation workers on the scene said. Read the full story here.

The city presented its plan for outer borough taxis to Community Board 11 at the group’s meeting on Monday, but a representative for the Livery Roundtable said he believed the initiative could make it more difficult for Queens residents to hail a cab. Read more from both sides here.
