Week In Review

It was a busy week for news in Douglaston.

District 26, which includes schools in Douglaston, Little Neck and Bayside, were listed among the city’s best in a Department of Education report.

Councilman Dan Halloran, R-Whitestone, joined civic leaders and veterans to celebrate the neighborhood’s recently renovated World War I memorial.

The Mobil gas station on Northern Boulevard was robbed and Fairway Market gave Patch an update on the upcoming store for the Douglaston Shopping Plaza.
