It was a busy week for news in Douglaston.

The Little Neck Douglaston Community Ambulance Corps talked with Patch about a fundraiser brunch at and state Assemblyman Rory Lancman, D-Fresh Meadows, announced that he would challenge U.S. Rep. Bob Turner, R-Forest Hills, for his seat.
