Week In Review

This Week's Stories Cover Everything from the Proposed Green Market to a Douglaston Man Who Manufactures a Plush Toy and Another Who Created an iPhone Application

It was a busy week for news and features in Douglaston.

The spirit of invention was alive as we profiled one community resident who created a means of simultaneously practicing Tai Chi and using the iPhone. We posted another piece on a local attorney who has introduced a stuffed animal that he says can help children practice their penmanship.

Douglaston Patch also ran stories this week on the proposed green market at the neighborhood's Long Island Rail Road station and the National Art League's reception for its March exhibit.
